            Good Morning Everyone,

            Even though the rain is supposed to let up, the field where we practice will be wet, and there is a chance for more rain later this afternoon.

            We will not have practice today.  I'm working with Coach Rob in the weight room to find out when we'll be able to get in after school when we return from fall break.  Once I know that, I'll have our schedule for the rest of the semester.

            Until the weather gets really bad, plan to be outside as often as we can.  The more time we get on the field, the better shape we'll be in when the season finally starts.  We may have some evening practices so that we can use the stadium.

            I've requested some Friday nights in the field house for us to work with the elementary and middle school girls who are interested in our sport.  I'll let you know the plans for that when I have some confirmed dates.

            Also, I've gone through all of your first term report cards and for the most part they're very good.  

            Sara Burton, Lydia LeClaire, and Cyntia Sanchez have straight A's.

            If I missed anyone, please let me know.  Quite a few of you are one B away from being on that list.  Let's push hard the rest of the semester to get that last A.  I'm hoping to have a much longer straight A list in December.

            A few of you need to really get to work if you plan to be with us.  If you have F's and D's on your report card at the end of the semester it will be very difficult for us to include you in our plans.

            I'll be going through the physical list again today or tomorrow and will send a list of those who are on the trainers' list with a completed physical.  If you aren't on the list I send out and think that you have turned in a physical let me know and we'll figure it out.  Remember that you need a physical for this school year.  If you're playing a Fall sport you're fine.

            I hope you all have a great Fall Break and come back excited to get to work!
